About Brandon Cope

Brandon will help you take the guesswork out of pain so your body can thrive. With Brandon Cope, you can confidently create a lifestyle, self-care plan and exercise routine that actually works, without risking pills, injections or surgery. How can Brandon serve you?

Full Story....

Back in high school Brandon loved helping people with pain. He was literally known as the “back rub guy.” He thought it was amazing how someone could be in pain, and without using drugs, injections or surgery, their pain would disappear. Just because he “rubbed” it.

At age 18 Brandon went to the Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute. He was surrounded by like minded people trying to help others with pain. Immediately feeling a sense of belonging. From there he went to several significant seminars and courses to develop his skills in muscle testing and pathology. Brandon became an ambitious reader, reading 60 books each year. The human body is amazing and it’s ability to function throughout injury is incredible.

On April 15th 2017, Brandon opened his private office in Santa Barbara. Better Education and Exercise Therapy or BEET Pain for short. He took people from surviving to thriving. Most clients were friends or family, but he quickly gathered a beautiful community of wonderful clients who came in to conquer difficult pain challenges.

In 2018 Brandon was asked to join the Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute teaching faculty. With several classes, he kept himself busy engaging students. It is always a joy to build the future of therapists and give back to education. Classes he taught included Musculoskeletal Physiology and Pathology, Muscle Testing 1 & 2, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Orthopedic Massage.

Brandon has been the host of two podcasts. In 2017 he hosted a podcast for the Neurokinetic Therapy community called Test Don’t Guess: A Conversation About Neurokinetic Therapy. After speaking with the leading experts from around the world Brandon started a second podcast based on his private practice. BEET Pain is Brandon’s second podcast focusing on chronic pain issues and alternative solutions.

Brandon keeps himself fit by training himself and his clients at Peak Fitness CDA. He enjoys beach volleyball and participates in tough mudders twice a year. He's completed Spartan Beast and an Iron Man half relay.

For the 2019 US Open in Pebble Beach Brandon got to join as a volunteer therapist working on the athletes. It was fun working with players at such a high level. Many were stressed from the rigorous days of golfing and needed some serious care.

2020… So that happened. It wasn’t planned, but it’s actually become one of the best years ever for Brandon. He moved to Coeur d’Alene Idaho and was invited to teach at the American Institute of Clinical Massage. In January 2022, Brandon opened his medical massage business in Coeur d'Alene. Working in the Coeur d'Alene community has refocused Brandon’s heart on what matters most in life and why he got into therapy all those years ago. Serving and loving other people is beautiful and worth doing.
